AdroitAthlete was formed in 2024 under the direction of successful e-commerce entrepreneur, Dan Platt, whose guiding desire was to create a marketplace for the athlete who above all else desires quality in the equipment they use. The word "adroit" comes from the mid-17th century French phrase "à droit," meaning "to do right, properly." In English, we use the word "adroit" to describe someone who is intelligent, discerning, and skilled in the way they perform a task. These are the individuals and businesses AdroitAthlete exists to equip.
